Welcome to Garford Gardens.

Inspired by wildlife, conservation and biodiversity. I am looking to bring gardening and the love of plants to all, in an affordable and encouraging way.

Plants available

Every 3rd Saturday of the month (9am-12pm) you will find Victoria at the Farmers Market in Marcham, Oxfordshire. She loves nothing better than growing, propagating and sharing plant encouragement with people.

Currently she has a selection of:

  • houseplants
  • potted spring bulbs (including alliums, tulips & iris)
  • perennials
  • sweet peas (should be ready in March)
  • peonies (should be ready March or April)
  • roses (should be ready in April)
  • dahlias (should be ready in May)

About

Victoria is a keen plants woman and is embarking on a new future in horticulture. She is interested in personal learning and education others.

In January 2026 Victoria started studying the Garden Design Diploma with KLC – West Dean. Please follow on social media to watch her progress.

She qualified with an RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles and Practices of Horticulture qualification achieved in 2023 and Level 2 Course in Understanding Climate Change and Environmental Awareness in 2022.

Victoria is writing a series of houseplant books (very slowly), more information is available at www.loveofplants.co.uk. The series title is LOVE OF PLANTS: Spathiphyllum wallisii: Peace lily and Sansevieria trifasciata: Snake plant are both available now at Amazon.
